Mercedes launched the production of the smallest track

Mercedes-Benz Company started a serial production of its new car CLA Shooting Brake. For the production of the smallest track the brand chose the factory in Hungary. The sale of the car will begin in March of the next year.

The car is based on the A-Class model. The length of the car is 4630 mm, width-1777 mm and a height is 1435millimeters. Trunk volume is equal to 495 liters. The total length of the luggage compartment increased up to 1328 millimeters. Externally, the CLA Shooting Brake is a smaller copy of the CLS wagon. The motor range of the car consists of three petrol engine 122 HP to 156 HP. In addition the car has two diesel power units. The power of such engines is 136 HP and 211 horsepower. 

Mercedes-Benz produced Roadster to celebrate the victory in Formula 1

Two unique Roadster Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG, dedicated to the victory of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton in 2014, as part of a team Mercedes-AMG Petronas, will be issued in the amount of 19 copies. The machines will have a sign with serial number of the model and one of the nineteen race tracks of Formula 1 calendar 2014. The full name of the car is: Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG World Championship 2014 collector's Edition, and in the development of this model both pilots of Mercedes-AMG Petronas — Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg took part. This season the pilots won the first places at the 16 and 19 tracks. Machines are presented in black and white colors. Black is the color of Hamilton, in addition to the car has Chrome exhaust pipes and Golden stripes on the lower part of the bumper, the golden letters of AMG and SL 63 as well as a golden border on light alloy disks, "gills" front wings and bonnet. This same theme continues in the Interior of the Roadster on the steering wheel, air ducts, mats, seats, and center console.

White Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG World Championship 2014 collector's Edition is the "artwork" of Rosberg and it is not-so-catchy: exterior color contrasts with grey inserts. Inside the white Salon are combined with grey leather seats and front panel. Special versions are equipped with a 5.5-liter turbocharged engine rated at 585 HP and 900Nm, their maximum speed was raised from 250 up to 300 km/h, however this car could be got only by the members of the VIP program Mercedes-Benz Circle of Excellence. Moreover, Roadsters as a pair-black and white — will cost 629 510euros, while each of the separately will cost 320 110 euro. The owners will receive gifts such as pilots 'helmets, which they used in the Formula 1, IWC Ingenieur Chronograph and a book about F1, signed by Hamilton or Rosberg. 

The best car for women was chosen

The organizers of the competition women's World Car of the Year, which is being organized annually from 2009, have chosen the winner. In the most prestigious category of "women's world car of the year" was sedan Mercedes-Benz S-class, which was also voted as the best model in the category "Luxury car of the year". In the battle for the Grand Prize winner was ahead of luxury sedan Audi A8 and Telsa Model S of electric car. The jury consisted of automotive female journalists, representatives of 15 countries around the world. The jury assessed the cars in ten different categories, including design, style, sex appeal and so called "WOW effect", which produces the model. In the category of "family car of the year was sedan Audi A3,"hot "version of the" enormous "Audi A3, S3 was recognized as the best sports car. First place in the category "Economy car of the year" took the small MPV Honda Jazz/Fit, and the best "green" model was the electric car Tesla Model s. Range Rover Sport got the prize in the category "crossover of the year", and as the machine of women dreams was called Jaguar F-Type Coupe.
